The fourth World KAMISHIBAI Day in Tokyo

World Kamishibai Day, which is enacted on the day of IKAJA’s foundation, has been celebrated since 2018. This year's event was held with full satisfaction even though the third anniversary in 2020 was postponed due to the pandemic. Furthermore, this year, we decided to hold a hybrid of venue participation and online participation. On the day of the event, 24 people participated in the venue and 35 people participated online. Eleven kamishibai stories were performed. We were also able to exchange online greetings with people from Australia, France, Germany, Malaysia, China, Slovenia and Japan. We enjoyed the whole afternoon together.
